So here’s some of the list, give us a call and we’ll see if we can make a Deal or No Deal for you…

I’ve even a 35mm Camera! lots of tools for your handyman, some pampered chef stuff, much much more… I see you drooling, take a shot, you’ve been looking for something! Our friends from Hacienda de Las Rosas Horse Farm and Winery in Romona where we filmed “Wine, Meats, Grille” and “Smok’n Sausages” have just opened a Tasting Room in Old Town, San Diego, and here is what they have to say about it…
Hacienda de las Rosas Winery, a family owned winery, is excited to announce the recent opening of our Tasting Room in Old Town, San Diego. Located in Plaza del Pasado at the Juan Street entrance, the Tasting Room offers fine San Diego County wines and a local artist gallery and garden room for a relaxed wine tasting experience. With photos and artwork of horses and early California History, our motto is “Drink Fine Wine…Ride Fine Horses”.
Included in the Wine Tasting are your choice of five wines (red and white), a complimentary Old Town wine glass, and a delicious appetizer tray. During the summer months, we have several featured artists and musicians…with currently featured Megan Cebe, Carol Marie Designs, Deborah Peters, Anne Heinbach, and Ron Titus…every weekend has a special on wine and artwork.
The Wine Tasting Room in Old Town, San Diego offers a perfect venue for your organization’s next fundraising event or meeting. We can work with you to develop a fund-raising event combined with music, food and wine tasting. In addition, the private garden room can be rented for parties of up to 20 for a unique meeting place during the week—day or evening. Non-profit organizations can obtain a special benefit of having the room fee reduced or waived.
We invite you to visit our tasting room, and enjoy a local wine tasting experience at the place where wine making and viticulture first started in California….right here in San Diego. Visit our website at www.haciendadelasrosas.org for more information about our horses, winery and new tasting room!
Location: Old Town San Diego, Plaza del Pasado, Juan Street Entrance
Hours: Sunday - Thursday 11:30 am - 7:00 pm
Friday and Saturday 11:30 am - 9:00 pm
So Stop on in and tell them Grilldog sent you, you’ll be glad you did!

Road Kill II - the Massacre
Was a huge success. We filmed at T&H Prime Meats and Sausages, 735 E Mission Rd in San Marcos last month. We had a huge crowd come out and taste all kinds of great food that was slow smoked on the donated Traeger Wood Pellet Grills. We had lots of wine from Twin Oaks Winery in San Marcos. We also had tons of great new recipes for your exotic Meats. The show should be edited and ready to air by the end of the month… Plus the folks at hauntedprops.com donated some scary looking creatures that aided in the first part of the show.. it’s gross. As of June 30th, I have started to edit the show! It’s awesatious…

Grilldog Presents: Celebrating our 40th Episode.
This month I’ll be putting together a compilation episode to celebrate our 40th episode. It’ll be some of the milestones that we have had that has driven the show towards its current direction of existentialism. I’m sure the very first “Splat” will be there, as well as, why we started doing it in the first place. Some of our favorite bloopers that taught us how to use the equipment we were working with. Also, the use of sponsors so I didn’t have to pay for everything. From that point we leaped to our new opening for the show to coincide with our national and international distribution starting in 2008 with some pretty strange shows like, Road Kill I and II. We’ll also see “Billdog’s” development. It’ll be lots of fun, ending with scenes from episode #41, Grilldog Presents: Out of Gas…. Foods that won’t make you fart.
Once we have the show compiled, we’ll be introducing it on the Jiggy Jaguar talk radio show in August!
_____
“Grilldog’s Guide to Food, Fun and Friends, a recipe book for Life”, is almost ready for final edits. We are hoping to have it published and ready in time for Christmas! The last two chapters from the rough draft were pretty bad, I’m hoping to have it ready to preview in the beginning of July. I’m looking for someone that would like to edit it for me? Any volunteers? Just shoot me an email to grilldog@grilldog.com

New Section: Grilldog’s Thoughts on Fatherhood!
Well, gang, I’m not a dad yet, a few more months to go before Junior Dog hits the stands. hmmm about the time I hope my book will be ready to be published! Anyway, it’s pretty exciting, since I like to be prepared, I thought I’d start planning for the future now. Since I’ll be 49 in a few months, first on the agenda is that I’m planning my retirement to be the same time as my son’s high school graduation… it’ll really be the same time frame anyway!
It is a pretty nervous time period right now. The ultrasounds show that he is healthy but there’s still months to go so we are not taking any chances. Grillpup doesn’t smoke nor drink alcohol so that’s great because that’ll insure that I have a designated driver. After all, wouldn’t want anything to happen to Good ole Grilldog! Secondly, I’m instigating a new policy around the house, no potty mouths and please and thankyou’s to be the norm. The way I am now I can see Junior Dog’s first day of class walking up to the teach and WTF give me the GD milk Now Beyotch! Now I don’t think I really want to go to school for that, after all, I’m an international celebrity, need to keep a low profile on things like that! hmmm, maybe I’ll just send Grillpup LOL
I know some folks argue back and forth as to if they want to know the sex of their baby or not. Everyone knows about my poor impulse control so you know I couldn’t wait. I think the reality of it all hit me when I found out it was a boy to carry on my Dog name LOL… So it’s exciting and I’m looking forward to it. I guess when my son talks about his OLD Man, he won’t be joking!

FAN Mail…
With Grilldog Presents airing all over the United States, New Zealand and Australia, I get asked frequently about feed back from my show. Unfortunately, Public Access shows like mine don’t hear from anyone unless we offend someone and they hate us. Recently, I received a nice email from some folks up in New Hampshire showing their support and telling how much they liked the show and hope their station continues to air it. Now that’s pretty cool. It makes the show worth while. I have had other comments about the show… The show’s so stupid I was fixed to the tv the entire time (great I thought, someone’s watching the show, it was exciting to know). Others liked the show but thought the bird poop on the fence in the background should have been cleaned. Basically, I’ve had all positive comments so that’s really exciting. I really appreciate the folks that watch the show and I’ll always vow to try and answer all serious comments that people send me either via email or my forum at www.grilldog.com/forum (it’s free).

Recipe for the Month
Recipe from Grilldog Presents: Out of Gas. We had a lot of fun filming Out of Gas, a show all about foods that won’t make you fart. The great folks at the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders IFFGD.org provided us with some great information.
Did you know that research has indicated that farts, i.e. gaseous butt emissions are adding to the deterioration of the ozone and thus a cause of the Greenhouse effect! Of course, us all here in California need to keep that tidbit of information away from our legislatures up in Sacramento or they’ll find a way to TAX our farts! I can see it now, they’ll pass a law requiring all pants being sold in the state to have an environmental tax applied plus be designed with a device to measure our release for amount and toxicity! People coming into our state from other states will have an environmental impact tax owed on each pair of pants they own and if they do not have the required emission measuring device up their ass, one will have to be inserted. Unfortunately, I can see that within 2 days I’ll have exceeded my emission allotment for the year and of course will have to pay an additional Fine. Can you see a little red sticker tattooed on our asses stating “Gross Polluter” do not go near open flames!
If you want fart free Beans, soak the beans over night in clear water. Drain the water, rinse the beans and cook the beans in fresh water. That’s all there is to it!
